Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Currently, GPA (Grade Point Average) is adopted in many universities to evaluate the score of students. And many studies about GPA are also reported to increase the accuracy pursuing simplicity. Current GPA should be used in a university or in a faculty, because it depends on the level, contents of each subject, and teachers in charge etc. And the influence of these difficulties of subjects, and the personal records should be considered in making a GPA system. In this paper, we discuss about these items (difficulties, personal record, etc.), and propose the “new difficulties of subject” and “new GPA systems,” and evaluate these systems. And finally, we also propose the new GPA system in which the cumulative distribution and/or converted deviation value with upper limit are taken into account.
