Abstract(in English) In this paper, we generalize a generative model in estimation of rank-constrained spatial covariance model that separates directional target and diffuse background sources. Conventional method models an observed signal with the multivariate complex Gaussian distribution and efficiently separates the target source. This paper models an observed signal with the multivariate complex Student's $t$-distribution and proposes its optimization algorithm. In the experiments, we separate speech signal and diffuse babble, station, and traffic noise to show superiority of the proposed method.
