Development of a Cloud Application Sharing Platform with Authorization Mechanism using CP-ABE

Abstract(in English) In recent years, collaborative work using cloud applications has become common. In that case, the user experience degradation due to network delay is an important issue. In this research, we develop an application execution platform using container type virtualization technology, with IP mobility and live migration technologies. This solves the user experience issue by enabling run the applications continuously at an arbitrary cloud site. Furthermore, for live migration and application sharing, we provide an authorization mechanism based on user attributes (affiliation etc.) using the ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE), which is a type of public key encryption. This solves the security issue in collaborative work in group. In this paper, we design an authority management scheme for cloud application sharing platform and implements into the prototype system. and show the safety and usefulness of the system through evaluation experiments using prototype system.
