Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The electric sliding contact mechanism is a mechanism that supplies electric power from a stationary object to a moving object (rotating object). This mechanism is widely used in the field of electrical equipment, brushes for stationary objects and slip rings for moving objects are used in AC motors and generators. Since these are accompanied by abrasion, it is desired to improve the abrasion resistance and electrical reliability of the brush. In this study, we focused on to elucidate the sliding characteristics of the slip ring and the brush, various characteristics using the iron slip ring and the silver graphite brush.
