Trends of research for dementia screening methods

Abstract(in English) There is an aging society problem since dementia patients are rapidly increasing in Japan. It is possible to control a dementia, and to be cured completely if it iwould be a mild stage called MCI. Therefore, early treatment is important by early detection for dementia tendency. However current diagnostics for dementia are carried out by doctors. If there is a simple dementia screening method by no medical staffs, we can test it more easily. There are some simple screening methods for dementia patients. In this paper, we investigate some trends and characteristics of recent researches, and make a clear of some problems and consideration on future issues.
