Proposal of a test description support environment for request acquisition in web application development

Abstract(in English) In the development of web application, requirements changes are frequently delivered from planners (i.e., people who suggest new specifications of software functions but do not have knowledge of programming) to developers without using the required documents. Therefore, there is a high possibility that development will be redone from the beginning due to communication discrepancy (i.e., misunderstanding of terms, nuances) between a planner and a developer. We assume that this problem can be solved by presenting the input values of the web application and corresponding output values when the planner tells the specification change. To prove this assumption, this study conducts preliminary experiments to confirm whether communication discrepancies occur during the development of web application. Based on the results of these preliminary experiments, it also proposes a planner’s test description support environment and conducts a case study to show the effectiveness of the environment.
