Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When natural disasters or equipment failure occurs network faults, communication career has to identify the service influences with precision and quickness. However, when different operation support systems operate physical and logical layer entities in network, it is difficult to identify network fault influence across layers. We have been studying a network management architecture that enables to store network structure with unified format and manage it across layers. In this paper, we propose a method of identifying the service influence by the network fault using this architecture for extending manage format for expressing the range of network fault in network structure. We verify the operation applying the proposed method to the city-wide network.
