Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) While a skeletal muscle is able to maintain a constant isometric force with a steady electrical stimulation, is it possible to maintain a constant length. Mechanism of regulating the muscle length still remains an open question, In order to answer this question, we made physiological experiments of frog semitendinosus muscle, and proposed a mathematical model of the muscle operating on the ascending and descending limb of the force-length relationship.
