| Abstract(in English) | Aiming at a breakthrough to overcome the limitations of Japanese semantic processing using existing case patterns and thesauri based on one semantic relation such as is-a relation, this paper proposes a new Japanese thesaurus, a multi-dimensional thesaurus with word associations function, and shows the validity of it for Japanese semantic processing. A multi-dimensional thesaurus with word associations function can represent various relations between words (eg. is-a, has-a, function, or other relations) and will make it possible to realize more advanced Japanese semantic processing using new case patterns described by recognition primitives which this paper proposes. |
