Abstract(in English) In recent years, ground fault accidents such as electric shock and fire have occurred frequently due to the rapid rise in power consumption rate, and ground fault detection technology is increasingly important. On the other hand, with the development of power electronics, the distortion of the electric power system becomes remarkable. In this paper, we set up on certain hypothesis about the cause of electricity fire in China. That is because of worse Power quality, especially the System Voltage distortion. Furthermore, it clarifies that significant errors are produced through detection method of Ior system when the system voltage is distorted.
