Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the development of artificial intelligence, the efficient method to provide ontologies (as machine-readable knowledge) is required. In this paper, we propose an approach to automatically generate ontologies from definition texts in Japanese dictionaries. In our approach, definition texts are recomposed on the basis of parts of speech and dependencies between clauses, and then the meaning of sentences (i.e., ontologies) is represented by RDF triples according to our proposed RDF rules. In our experiment, we show the precision of ontologies that are generated from definition texts in the goo Japanese dictionary.
