Distributed power control algorithm under time-varying communication environments

Abstract(in English) The Foschini-Miljanic algorithm allows multiple pairs of a transmitter and a receiver to dynamically tune their transmission powers to achieve desired values of SINR. However, since the characteristics of communication paths is assumed to be time-invariant, the stability of the algorithm is not guaranteed when the communication paths exhibit time-varying characteristics. In this talk, we propose an analytical methodology for determining the stability of the algorithm under stochastically time-varying communication environments.
