Camera Calibration Based on Angle Detection that Uses Vanishing Point

Abstract(in English) In camera calibration which is a nonlinear least squares problem, to get a correct rotation matrix is important and difficult. This article proposes a method that gets a rotation matrix with a vanishing point. Advance computation of rotation matrix simplifies the nonlinear least squares. Furthermore, by computing each camera parameters independently as much as possible, the proposed method can reduce errors. After image correction with parameters which are given by the proposed method, stereo measurement toward objects which is 5[m] away from cameras achieves relative error within 2[%] at around a center of an image.
