| Abstract(in English) | Video presentation in Augmented Reality (AR) is equivalent to adding, editing, and screening real information (= light) entering the field of view. If a near-eye display (NED) can freely rewrite the actual information in the field of view and if it can freely support, strengthen and control the human vision, we could think such AR display technology reach at the final goal. Unfortunately, I have never heard of a display that realizes such a function (naturally I have never seen it either). At the same time, it seems that the optical see-through NED, or so-called AR glasses / smart glasses, has steadily evolved to such an extent that it gains citizenship in recent years. Given these backgrounds, this invited talk explorer; what kind of problems the researchers in the NED area are working on recently towards the final goal; and what kind of future vision we can draw by solving them. |
