Abstract(in English) | In recent years, major disasters such as the Great East Japan Great Earthquake are occurring. Damage to the communication infrastructure due to the earthquake has occurred, communication damage also caused by congestion. There is a satellite network as a communication means effective even in the event of a disaster. Since the satellite network has wide area and the satellite exists on the stationary orbit of the universe, it is not easily affected by disasters. Large delay satellite network TCP Hybla is used as a congestion control scheme that functions at high performance. There is TFRC as a real-time communication method friendly with TCP Reno. However, TFRC cannot fully demonstrate performance with TCP Hybla under the satellite network environment because the bandwidth is compressed by TCP Hybla. In this paper, we propose TFRC Hybla as a new real-time communication scheme that functions with high performance even in co-existence with TCP Hybla in satellite network environment, and evaluate the performance by simulation. |
