Abstract(in English) | In an electricity market, negawatt trading, which means a type of trading of electrical power saved by consumers, is expected to suppress peak power consumption. However, the negawatt power generates a risk of instability because consumers’ behavior for power-saving tends to be unpredictable. The unstable negawatt power can be a factor that degrades the quality for a power system required to maintain reliable supply and demand balance. In our previous research, a method to request consumers to save power from an aggregator which unitarily controls negawatt power has been proposed in order to reduce the instability of negawatt power. However, the previous model has restricted consumers’ behavior to a few types and not considered seasonal fluctuation in consumers’ behavior. This paper shows some experimental results on the relation between consumers’ behavioral changes and instability of negawatt power. |
