| Authentication is a mandatory building block for security of the society. Currently, many service providers operate authentication systems individually and independently without sufficient mutual interoperability, which indeed causes multiple serious problems; big investments in authentication systems made by service providers, multiple registration requirement of users and identity leakage as the number of services increase. In this paper, as solution to solve these problems, we introduce an authentication infrastructure that share authentication results among providers without restriction. In order to realize such authentication infrastructure, we cannot avoid answering the question how we can trust the trust created by others. The aim of this paper is exactly to answer the question. |
