| Recently, numerous studies of optical devices have been carried out to fabricate lab-on-a-chip photonic circuit. For high performance and high density photonic circuit, it is necessary that devices confine optical fields at minute region for a long time and have unidirectional emission from the cavity. Here we will discuss numerical simulation of the dielectric cylinder doped with gain inclusions to design optical active elements. |
