The Current Internet Architecture is designed to communicate between hosts in the network. In current internet architecture, because the IP router does not provide a caching capacity, the same request would be made multiple times through the path, and cause an unnecessary bandwidth usage. ICN routers are able to cache the content to reduce user delay, traffic bandwidth and etc. In this paper, we propose “probabilistic caching” for ICN. When the requested data delivering back to the requester, first hop of ICN routers caching the content with highest probability and decreasing the caching probability hop by hop respectively. |
