[Poster Presentation] Proposal of a computer aided wireless network design tool

(in English) This paper shows the prototype of computer aided network design tool for an autonomous wireless sensor system. In order to increase the battery life of sensor nodes, energy-efficient data acquisition and reliable wireless link are necessary. The tool provides the adequate geographical sensor node position on the map based on the propagation power loss owing to the distance and the obstacle as well. The RSSI value between respective sensor nodes is estimated from the statistics of experiment data using the commercially available sensor device, which integrates RF circuitry with tiny antenna, such as chip and pattern ones.
