Direct Induced Current Control for Inductive Coupling Wireless Charging System

(in English) This paper proposes a novel topology structure and control methodology for wireless charging, in which a constant current output on the secondary coil being generated, thus eliminating the requirement for additional current regulator at the receiving part. This proposal simplifies the system structure and improves overall efficiency, and the operational principle of the control method, circuit implementation as well as simulation analysis are presented and discussed. Under 500W-wireless charging condition, the DC-DC efficiency reaches 90% and is increased by 20% as opposed to the typical solutions. This method is exclusively suitable for direct charging of large capacity batteries.
