This work analyzed gaze distribution data on facial images obtained from observing subjects by using an eye-tracking system while they judged different personality impressions: this result might depend on the dimension of the impression being observed. In particular, it was investigated whether the local area of the human face dominantly gazed at differs depending on different types of cosmetic treatment applied to synthetic faces used as visual stimuli.
