28 GHz Band Power Amplifier for Massive MIMO Transmitter

(in English) This paper presents experimental results of 28 GHz band power amplifier for Massive MIMO transmitter. The power amplifier consists of the amplifier path and delay line path, which corresponds to a signal cancellation loop of feed-forward power amplifier. From this configuration, the power amplifier can provide extremely low deviation on gain and phase when changing the output power level. Experimental results confirm that the fabricated 28 GHz band power amplifier achieves the gain and phase deviations of under 0.1 dB and 1.0 degree, respectively. The power amplifier is suitable for Massive MIMO transmitter application.
