Consideration on Antenna Structures for Monopulse Radar Use

(in English) Antenna structures for monopulse radar were investigated using the microstrip line antenna at 920MHz and the vertical strip transmission line radiator at 60GHz. First, the radiation performance of each antenna was calculated, and thereafter, the characteristics of two antennas placed at specific spacing were evaluated as the monopulse radar applications. It was obvious that these antenna structures can detect the arrival angles of the electromagnetic wave reflected from targets.
