Estimation of Degree of Presentator’s Tension in Poster Session

(in English) To increase a performance of poster presentation, a presentator should know his/her mental conditions such as tension or anxiousness. If presentator’s mental conditions are estimated, we might be able to intervene effectively in presentator to overcome his/her drawbacks. This research investigates a method to estimate presentator’s tension with heart rate variability (HRV) signal. To quantify a degree of tension, L/T index of Lorentz plot of HRV signal was adopted. In an experiment of poster session, six presentators’ HRV signals were measured using ECG sensor and Pulse sensor. As a result of estimation, presentators’ tension were not efficiently estimated because resting state to compare tension one could not defined.
