In a microwave link, the analog data transmitted as radio waves in a particular band of the electromagnetic spectrum to meet specific communication needs. The 28 GHz RF transmitter has been designed to implement the modulation, up-conversion, and power amplification processes for the mmWave wireless communication system. The 28 GHz RF transmitter system consists of four major subsystem circuits; the up-converter mixer section, LO section, IF section and RF section. The linearity, efficiency and output power signal generated by the 28 GHz RF transmitter is observed and analysed. |
