This paper presents watermelon meter for classifying quality watermelon fruit with microwave technique. The watermelon meter was developed based on the reflection measurement that it was a non-destructive sample for separating mature watermelon. The watermelon meter was fabricated at operating frequency at 2.0 GHz, RF oscillator to RF amplifier through the direction coupler to the antenna. The reflected signal from watermelon fruit was coupled by directional coupler to power detector. This device converts RF to DC that the voltage of mature fruit is higher than immature fruit. The experiment shows good separating between immature and mature watermelons.
