Transmission performance simulation for SU-MIMO in Local 5G System under the campus outdoor environment

(in English) When a local 5G wireless base station is installed on the roof of the on-campus research building, the improvement effect of throughput when the number of layers of the downlink eigenmode SU-MIMO is changed was evaluated by simulation at multiple points in the service area based on the delay profile obtained by the ray tracing method. As a result, in the case of
4×4MIMO, The maximum throughput was about 1600 Mbps, which was four times faster than that of SISO. While there was a great correlation between the effect of MIMO on improving throughput and the received power, but the delay spread was a small correlation.
