Case study of a novel idea generation method: The SA method.
Atsushi Sakahara (Utsunomiya Univ.), Atsushi Ito (Chuo Univ.), Madoka Hasegawa (Utsunomiya Univ.) TL2022-1
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Combining two ideas to generate ideas is widely known as dialectic development. We are currently developing the SA method, a methodology that can help you to create ideas by combining three ideas and rotating dialectic development. In this paper, we present the effectiveness of the SA method retrospectively with three cases: a publishing project the first author is currently working on, career development of a student, and developing a recipe in cooking.
