Basic calculation experiment on swimming exercise by Centimeter-Level Augmentation Service of Quasi-Zenith Satellite System

(in English) Until now, the measurement and collection of scientific data such as the swimmer's three-dimensional position, velocity, and acceleration during swimming has used camera images from above and underwater, and in research, accelerometers, gyros, etc. have been used. In order to measure swimmer's swimming motion data with high accuracy, advanced image processing technology and skill of analysts are required, and since these devices are expensive, users are top swimmers such as Olympic athletes. The measurement accuracy is also difficult to evaluate. In this research, using the cm-class positioning reinforcement service CLAS (cm Level Augmentation Service) provided by the quasi-zenith satellite system QZSS (Quasi-Zenith Satellite System) "MICHIBIKI", positioning and visualization are performed during swimming, and only top swimmers. However, I hope that it will be available for general swimmers or club activities at high schools and universities.
