[Poster Presentation] Creation of single silicon-vacancy centers in nanodiamonds by ion implantation

(in English) Color centers in nanodiamonds are expected to have applications in quantum technology. Among them, silicon vacancy centers (SiV centers) are attracting attention as candidates for single-photon sources because of their high luminescence efficiency of more than 70 % toward zero-phonon lines. We have fabricated SiV centers in nanodiamonds by implanting silicon ions into pre-prepared nanodiamonds. However, single SiV centers have not been discovered, due to the large amount of the implanted ions. To find out the condition for the fabrication of single SiV centers, we have controlled the amount of the ion implantation between 1011 and 1013 ions/cm2. As a result, we have succeeded in the fabrication of the single SiV centers in nanodiamonds with the size of about 25 nm.
