A Wideband Cancellation Circuit Enabling Control of Amplitude-Frequency Characteristics by Using Two Variable Resistors

(in English) This paper proposes a wideband cancellation circuit enabling control of amplitude-frequency characteristics by using two variable resistors. First, characteristics of the proposed circuit are formulated. Next, it is shown that amplitude-frequency characteristics of a concave shape, a convex shape, and a flat shape are obtained by designing values of the variable resistors. An absolute value of amplitude and a quality-factor of amplitude-frequency characteristics can be independently controlled with the variable resistors. Last, relative bandwidths of simultaneous bidirectional transmission circuit with a conventional canceler and that with the proposed canceler are compared. The wideband characteristics of the proposed circuit are revealed. Simulation results with the proposed canceler show more than 30dB cancellation over a relative bandwidth of 12% including an operation bandwidth of an antenna in the bidirectional transmission circuit.
