Radio propagation simulations in wide urban areas using a ray tracing are effective to evaluate the radio communication system quality. However, it is difficult for a general-purpose computer to calculate the propagation simulation in a km-order urban area model because of the calculation cost. In this paper, we propose a simple modeling method that combines several or many buildings into one building to decrease the calculation cost on the propagation simulation. The height of the combined buildings is determined from the information of the original buildings. The best result shows the RMSE 6.8dB on comparison of the analysis and the measurement. |
