Performance Analysis of Block Transmission Method Using Dynamic Forwarder Selection for Ad Hoc Networks

(in English) In ad hoc networks, to deal with the degradation of communication efficiency due to terminal mobility and radio interferences, it is important to improve both spatial and temporal utilization such as path diversity or link utilization efficiency. Although a data transmission method, which realizes the spatio-temporal efficiency, has been proposed, it was only evaluated theoretically or partially. To realize the spatio-temporal efficiency as a network protocol, this paper proposes a data transmission method which can select a forwarder adaptively and transmit data in units of multiple frames for considering both path diversity and link utilization. In addition, this paper evaluates the effectiveness of the proposed method by simulations.
