Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) 6G mobile communication systems is being actively pursued worldwide. For actualizing extreme-high-speed communication exceeding 5G, utilization of sub-terahertz (THz) bands above 100 GHz has been considered. However, channel characteristics above 100 GHz have not been studied sufficiently. In this paper, for exploiting sub-THz bands for 6G, the path loss characteristics from 2 to 300 GHz bands were investigated in an urban microcell environment. Also, we clarified the frequency dependency on path loss.
