Improving the Decoding Success Rate of Position Data with Interference Detection between Surrounding Subregions in Pixel-level Visible Light Communication

(in English) PVLC (Pixel-level Visible Light Communication) is a system that can embed human-imperceptible data in each pixel of the projection image. However, since different signals are transmitted simultaneously for each subregion, light from multiple subregions may reach a receiver and cause interference. In this paper, we assume an application where position data is transmitted by PVLC. In the application, we propose a method to detect the interference and to improve the decoding success rate of position data by allowing the interference between surrounding subregions under gray code. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, we evaluated the decoding success rate on a screen and an aerial image.
