Study for deployable cylindrical reflector antenna

(in English) In the synthetic aperture radar (SAR), a narrow beam in the direction of travel of the satellite and a wide beam in the direction orthogonal to it are required to achieve both a wide observation region and high resolution. Therefore, an antenna configuration that combines a cylindrical reflector and a small array feed is studied. By switching the five beams, it is designed to satisfy the target gain within the desired observation region. In addition, the validity of the proposed method is shown in a measurement.
