Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Pupil light reflex (PLR) were observed for elder subjects in order to examine an influence of stage of dimentia which was measured using a dimentia test. PLRs were measured for both eyes with blue or red light pluse for either eye.
Some features were extracted from the waveforms. Those features were comparable between two eyes in any stages of dimentia.
Three factor scores were estimated from the features, a detection procedure for stages of dimentia was created using regression analysis.
As a result, effect of factor scores from PLRs for blue light and sugject's age was confirmed.
