In public spaces, it is important to reduce ambient noise and conversational sounds. Therefore, ANC is applied to partitions installed at bank counters and shared offices to solve problems. In this paper, we propose a dual ANC that simultaneously controls noise in two spaces separated by partitions using a common microphone. In the dual ANC, one microphone functions as a reference microphone in one system and as an error microphone in the other system. From the simulation results, the dual ANC simultaneously reduces noise more than 6 dB in two spaces, and we demonstrate that the noise reduction is improved by using a film-like speaker as a secondary source. |
