In this time, to simulate the underwater transmission line in the natural environment in underwater optical wireless communication, we used seawater in the shallow sea area obtained at 6 points in the Seto Inland Sea for the experimental system of underwater optical wireless communication constructed in the laboratory The bit error rate (BER: Bit Error Ratio) was measured in this experiment while changing the seawater in the transmission line in a 74 cm underwater transmission experiment of 500 Mbit/s, NRZ-OOK signal. We also confirmed that BER = 3.8 × 10-3, which can regenerate the original information by the error correction code, is achieved. |
