Image filter using bandpass filters and contrast sensitivity function

(in English) If we reduce low visibility information in image generation/transfer systems, the costs of those computations can be reduced.
However, if the estimation of the visibility is wrong, the visual information may be excessively lost.
In this paper, we propose an image filtering method that reduces low-visibility frequency components.
It optimizes the pass rate of the frequency bands separated by 2nd-order Gaussian Derivative filters based on the results of comparing the spatial frequency component of the image extracted by multiple Gabor functions with the contrast sensitivity function.
The results of comparative experiments with the conventional methods show that the proposed method can reduce the frequency component in a way that is faithful to the visual characteristics based on the contrast sensitivity function.
