(in English) In order to realize large-capacity wireless communication, it is common to install MIMO technology in a small terminal. In this case, strong electromagnetic coupling occurs due to the close distance between the antennas, and the decrease in communication distance and communication capacity due to the decrease in antenna efficiency becomes a problem. As a countermeasure, the authors have investigated various decoupling methods for MIMO antennas placed in close proximity. In this report, in order to reduce the electromagnetic coupling between two antennas, we first derive a method that connects the antennas via components and uses a matching circuit at the feeding point, and then uses even-odd mode and characteristic mode analysis to further connect the antennas. This shows a decoupling method that eliminates the need for components and matching circuits.
