Research and development of quantum computers using solid-state qubits are accelerating. Whereas people anticipate solid-state devices such as superconducting and silicon qubits for scaling up using conventional semiconductor integration technology, the aspect of quantum computers as analog computers makes integration difficult. In this talk, we propose a simple analog-digital hybrid wiring architecture that exploits the fact that measurement digitizes the analog wave function of quantum circuits. We place analog interfaces (I/Os) used for the qubit control as close as possible to a quantum chip to avoid wiring complexity. |
