Control of SDN optical networks using public cloud container services

(in English) In this work, we propose a method for controlling SDN optical network using container virtualization in public cloud services. We implement SDN control platform composed of multiple control clients and container orchestrators based on Linux container and Kubernetes on Amazon Web Services. Using the container virtualization, scale in and out of the control clients are fast and flexible. In addition, the orchestration of massive network equipment can be achieved by container orchestration based on Kubernetes. We experimentally evaluate latency submitting multiple requests to external APIs in our implemented platform and conduct connection between SDN agents and our platform.
