Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Electromagnetic simulation and analysis studies usually conducted using anatomical human and animal models that is proved to be of high consistency with real measurements. While digital anatomical models are now of high similarities to real objects, it still lacks modeling of fine structures and wide variabilities. In this study, we discuss using high-resolution x-ray CT imaging of monkey finger to include collagen fibers in human finger model. Results of computed electrical impedance demonstrate that inclusion of collagen fibers leads to more realistic experimental data. This proposed method can be used to generate high-resolution human models that was not available before towards more accurate electromagnetic simulation studies.
