[Invited Talk] Development of coherent quantum THz sources based on single crystals of high-temperature superconductors

(in English) In this paper, we describe recent progress on the development of coherent quantum terahertz sources based on single crystals of high-temperature superconductor Bi$_2$Sr$_2$CaCu$_2$O$_{8+delta }$. We design and characterize a microstrip pattern of planar patch antennas compatible with the superconducting terahertz sources. We designed superconducting sources using three-dimensional electromagnetic simulation and observed continuously tunable terahertz radiation in the frequency range of 0.35--0.85~THz. A plateau behavior and two-peak structure indicate moderate impedance matching between the superconductor and the vacuum. Our results provide a new microstrip pattern technique that can lead to the realization of a convenient and compact monolithic superconducting terahertz source.
