Proposal and Analysis of 1D Model of DC-DC Converter with TEM

(in English) Current-controlled DC-DC converters have been analyzed by keeping the output voltage of the converter constant in order to simplify the analysis. In this research, we propose a one-dimensional model that simulates two-dimensional circuit operation by changing the output voltage of the converter for each switching frequency in a current-controlled boost DC-DC converter with a thermoelectric module (TEM). Then, the effect of the output characteristics of the TEM on the circuit operation is verified by deriving a one-parameter bifurcation diagram. In the proposed circuit model, it was confirmed that a new bifurcation structure occur. We will verify whether a waveform similar to the proposed circuit model is generated using LTspice.
