In order to improve the readability of the metro map, it is necessary to analyze the reading of the metro map. A previous study (Michael et al., 2017) analyzed eye movements during route search on a metro map and confirmed that the difficulty of reading the metro map and the number of transfers affected the results. However, since eye movements are greatly affected by image features, it is necessary to consider the task content and image features. In this study, we used the Saliency map, a computational model of human attention, to analyze the effects of bottom-up attention and top-down attention. As a result, it was confirmed that top-down attention, bottom-up attention, and interaction affected eye movements in each cluster. In particular, it was confirmed that the average gazing time became longer when the Saliency value of the metro map increased. |
