This paper proposes to adapt both of IEEE 802.1TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) and IEEE 802.11e to home networking. The authors divide a home network into two parts: wireless network and wired one, and then applies SPQ and EDCA to them respectively. Here SPQ is one of the controls defined IEEE 802.1TSN and EDCA is defined in IEEE 802.11e. By evaluating QoS by simulation, the authors confirm the effectiveness of the proposal. |
