Wireless Power Transfer Experiment to inflight Drone by Injection-Locking Magnetron

(in English) We proposed a method to realize the long-time flight of the drone by microwave wireless power transmission technology, and conducted an experiment which transmitted the microwave power to the drone. A 5.8 GHz injection-locking magnetron was used as the transmitter whose phase noise level was suppressed to less than -80 dBc/Hz. In addition, the lithium battery of the drone was replaced with a lightweight rectenna, and the magnetron power can enable the continuous flight of the drone.
